Roberts and Nayor give multimedia educational presentations on the project

Feb. 13, 2014 - Ella Nayor spoke to members of the community at the Holocaust Museum and Education of Southwest Florida in Naples. Ms. Nayor continues to investigate human behavior and move out of her comfort zone to learn about people in her community. In the past year, Ella is working on a second short film. At the talk Ms. Nayor shared her insights into her ongoing work with Project Tolerance.
Feb. 17, 2014 – Myra Roberts spoke to a packed congregation at the Sanibel Congregational Church. She presented her 45 original collage work at the shared scholar program sponsored jointly by the Bat Yam Temple of the Islands, St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church and the Sanibel Congregational Church. Ms. Roberts works is based on a researched historical account of events 20 years before WWII leading to the Holocaust. The event hosted by event sponsors, Rabbi Myra Soifer, Sanibel Congregational Church Senior Pastor John Danner, and Betsy Schuman inspired a lively period of questions and answers following the presentation.
Feb. 25, 2014 – Learning from the Past. Living the Present. Looking to the Future. The Chabad Jewish Center Cape Coral is sponsoring A Historic Event Anne Frank’s Step Sister. The event is a fundraiser for the Chabad Jewish Center Cape Coral. Visitors will have a chance to listen to Anne Frank’s step sister Eva Schloss share her story about surviving the Holocaust. A collection of Myra Roberts Anne Frank pieces and collages will be on exhibit during the event. Ms. Roberts and Ella Nayor will be attending the event. March 2, 2014 – Myra Roberts painstakingly researched collage collection “Prelude to the 40s” will be on exhibit at Holocaust Museum and Education of Southwest Florida in Naples beginning on March 2 at 1 p.m. The mixed media collection portrays how average citizens were willing to be blind to the Holocaust. This thought-provoking exhibit will be sure to leave many scratching their heads and asking why? There will be an artist discussion on Sunday, March 2 at 4:30 p.m.

March 17, 2014 – Myra Roberts and Ella Nayor of Project Tolerance will present their work at Edison College on Monday, March 17 at 1 p.m. Ms. Roberts will share her newest collage collection “Prelude to the 40s” via a Power Point production. The powerful mixed media collages will be discussed. Ms. Nayor will discuss subjects of her book “Faces of Tolerance: Everyone Counts”. She will share the details of Holocaust survivors and others in relation to Ms. Roberts’s artwork.
April 23, 2014 – Project Tolerance will share their ongoing work at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23 at Sasses’ restaurant in Fort Myers. The lunch spot is the monthly site for Temple Beth-El’s program Lunch and Learn. Come listen to Myra Roberts and Ella Nayor of Project Tolerance share their passion and respective work.
